What the main need in a tyre servicing truck?

“Just about everything” Duralloy’s Sales Manager says as he shows me around the latest creation from Duralloy. Starting from the back he points out the Maxilift Tommy Gate Loader with a mesh steel platform, behind it sits the Maxilift Crane while the control box is settled in a small compartment of its own, sealed and locked with a Whale Tail Locking system. Moving down the right of the truck we see a flat white composite sheet ready to be sign written with the Chinchilla Tyre & Battery logo. Coming up to the front of the tray there is a large toolbox used as a headboard. Opening this reveals a large compressor suited to the needs of the service provided. There is also room to hold anything storage related. On the opposite side there is more storage space in the other end of the toolbox. Stepping right slightly we see a fold down mesh step to help aid when opening the swing door in front of you and hoping into the back of the truck. Inside there is a wide flat heavy-duty floor covered in Duralloys 3mm Checkerplate Sheet Overlay. This extends to the very back where two custom toolboxes are situated beside the crane base. These toolboxes open from the outside of the tray with the use of Whale Tail locks and Gas Struts to keep the boxes secure. Stepping back off the deck using the same step we pulled down before we are able to see the complete left side of the tray also has room to be sign written. Finally coming to the rear left, we see a custom vertical bar cage mounted to the corner beside the Tommy Gate loader. This I was told was the tyre inflation cage, customed to the size and dimension needed by the company.

Overall this build is the first marking of a new design for tyre truck industry. Using our load rated floor, able to hold weight up to 980KG per pallet space, yet still increasing the payload by building the entire tray out of Aluminium, it’s a tray that will last a long time.
