Built to suit the woodchip world, this tray is an example of the pros of aluminium. In an environment working with plants and trees there is a high chance of moister entering the tray surrounding. In the original steel versions this moister is the beginning of a rusty base and then corrosion of the tray floor and walls, however this time round our aluminium build comes neatly to the rescue. Built tall and strong with our extra heavy-duty flooring and framework this truck was ready for the fleet based in Mackay.
Working with RGM Maintenance in Mackay we had the privilege to work on the Fuso Fighter creating the largest woodchip tipper built here at Duralloy. Custom to suit the needs of our end user with an inbuilt toolbox and custom two-way tailgate. Mounted with PTO hydraulics and a heavy-duty subframe the load can be supported securely. Thanks to the aluminum body payload is not an issue on this build.
Completely custom and supported, this build has potential for all tree management companies across Queensland.
